WILLIAM NEWELL, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

To spearhead the company’s expansion, Bill Newell joined RENOVO as CEO in 2022. As an experienced health care leader, Mr. Newell has a strong track record of growing global businesses and building high-performance teams. He most recently served as a member of the executive team at Dentsply Sirona, the world’s largest manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies, and led growth and customer retention strategies as executive vice president of sales and marketing for Cardinal Health.

SANDY MORFORD, CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER

Sandy joined RENOVO SOLUTIONS in 2010 with more than 30 years experience in leading healthcare organizations. Recognized as an industry leader with extensive experience in executive management, his strengths include business development, operations management, sales and marketing. Sandy is a Certified Clinical Engineer and has an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Andy Ulvenes, CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

Andy joined the Renovo team as COO, bringing with him 20+ years of leadership experience in hands-on healthcare strategy, operations, finance and commercialization.  His responsibilities include building and leading both internal and field operations teams, focused on executing Renovo’s overall strategy.  Andy and the current operations team set and implement goals for operational performance, quality and growth, and execute process improvements based on data analytics and Key Performance Indicators.

Andy began his healthcare leadership career at GE Healthcare, where he spent 12 years in various roles, including service delivery, finance, and commercials sales and operations.  He then joined Kaiser Permanente as Vice President of Healthcare Technology Management, where he spent a decade leading the company’s Clinical Technology program.  This included delivering Biomedical, Imaging and Laboratory services, as well as capital planning and cybersecurity for Kaiser. His deep expertise in working with clinicians, hospital executives and department operations focused on improving quality of services, equipment uptime and hospital outcomes.  Andy then seized the opportunity to join First Health Advisory as Executive Vice President over Operational Security and Technology.  His responsibilities included building and growing a team of biomedical engineers, focused on delivering Medical Device cybersecurity, and value creation of the company.

PAUL DANDROW, CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER

Paul joined RENOVO SOLUTIONS in 2022 to lead our Information Technology teams to scale up the infrastructure and systems necessary to handle the continuously increasing demand for our services. With his 30 years of experience as an IT Healthcare Executive, he is ideally suited for this role. Having been an executive at several successful start-ups and a business leader at Dell and NTT Data, he has the right background and expertise to support RENOVO’s growth globally.

Michael Shaffer, Chief Financial Officer

Mike joined Renovo Solutions in 2022 and is responsible for the Finance and Accounting functions and helping to develop, evaluate, and implement the company’s overall strategy, with an emphasis on continued growth and strong bottom-line performance.  Mike brings 25 years, 15+ in healthcare, of hands-on strategic, operational, and financial leadership at the corporate, investor and advisory levels for both public and private equity-backed businesses.  He has significant experience working with rapidly growing businesses and in identifying and integrating acquisitions.  Most recently Mike worked for a private equity firm assisting their portfolio companies quickly build scale and operational sophistication.  Prior to the that he was CFO for two private equity-backed healthcare businesses.  Mike holds an MBA and BA from Northwestern University.

Rick Ramos, SVP

Rick joined Renovo Solutions in 2022 to accelerate the growth of Renovo’s Life Sciences business.  With over 20 years of management experience across pharma, biotech, med tech, and laboratory services, Rick has built high performance teams and high-growth businesses for exceptional companies like Forest Laboratories, Genzyme, Sanofi and PerkinElmer.

Daina Gjemre , Vice President, Human Resources

Daina Gjemre joined Renovo as Vice President of Human Resources in February of 2023. In her role, she is responsible for leading the company’s overall people strategy. Daina brings over 15 years of human resources experience from time spent in professional services agencies, management consulting, and several private equity-backed organizations. Her areas of specialty include performance management, total rewards, talent acquisition, employee engagement, change management and communications, learning and development, and HR operations. Daina works to align business goals and optimize people practices within fast company growth environments. She holds a BA in Journalism from Indiana University, Bloomington.
